So today is gorgeous outside. I had to get up early to get my mom to her procedure... she's getting some cosmetic work done, bearing 4 babies has worn her body down a bit and she wants to be able to show off her legs in Saudi Arabia (which I think may actually be illegal).

Today I'm going to be packing up my sewing stuff to take up to Denver tomorrow. I'm excited I'm going to help a friend with her wedding dress (technically they're already hitched, so it'll be a wedding celebration dress) but I've never sewn a wedding dress before and I'm totally jazzed. I'm also going to run to JoAnn's today to get the stuff for my sisters costume, which I want to try and finish this weekend too. She's going as Doctor Who's companion Romana.

On a sad note, my desktop bit the big one last night. Or at least the fan on the graphics card did. So I need to go get a new one today before I can play any WOW. :(

Oh! I meant to add how the diet was going. After stalling for a couple days and loosing about 1 pound last night I dropped a pound and a half, bringing me down to a total of 12 pounds lost since starting last Monday. That's nearly an average of 2 pounds a day! I think that's pretty good.

And I took my video card into a local computer repair place today. The guys there are great. They dug around in the back until they found an old video card with the fan I needed, they installed that and did if for free! My card is working great now.
